I'd rather sew than eat!   I'm a creative recycler.   I turn "old" into "new". 

Send me your tired, torn, weary wears...I'll make them new again, or different. 

I work with almost any fabric, including leather.  I took an old suede coat that was a good "memory" and made pillows and a picture for my daughter.  If there's an item that is no longer wearable or useful, but too "good" or "memorable" to discard...I can change it into something new and useful, or wearable.

I embroider, patch, applique, personalize...or change completely, using your materials and ideas.

As you will see from the pictures, I make bears (and other huggables) and personalize them for the "giftee". 

There's not a picture, but I made a dress out of a lace tablecloth.....purses from ties, jeans, ribbons, old sweaters, sweatshirts....embroider (or paint) jackets, jeans, etc.  There are pictures of pillows made from ties that were their dad's or husbands, used now as "a memory" for someone.

If it can be dreamed or imagined, it can be done!  (wear and tear, holes, just about everything can be fixed...)
